The Geraldine Bulldogs volleyball squad (Geraldine, AL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Fyffe Red Devils (Fyffe, AL)

The Red Devils (29-10) will now prepare for their contest against Plainview (Rainsville, AL). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 28-14 record. In their last contest, Plainview was tipped by Cherokee County (Centre, AL), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 19-26 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sylvania for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. Geraldine will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL). The Rams record now stands at 4-15.
