The Gilman Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Owen-Withee Blackhawks to 1 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pirates now have a 10-14 record. They play next when they host Flambeau for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 11. Gilman will play a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Cornell (Cornell, WI). The Falcons record now stands at 7-8.

The Blackhawks (7-10) will now prepare for their outing against Stanley-Boyd (Stanley, WI). The Orioles come into the non-league outing with a 38-4 record. In their last outing, Stanley-Boyd was nudged by McDonell Central (Chippewa Falls, WI), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
