The Marquette Sentinels (Marquette, MI) volleyball held off the visiting Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI), 1-0 in Saturday's league bout.
The Sentinels now possess a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manistique for a non-league match on Thursday, October 16.
The Braves (9-11) will now prepare for their match against Kingsford (Kingsford, MI). The Flivvers enter the Great Northern U.P. match with a 15-4 record.
