Kansas High School Volleyball - Wheatland-Grinnell over Golden Plains

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Golden Plains Bulldogs.

The Thunderhawks (20-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Cheylin (Bird City, KS). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 20-8 record. In their last test, Cheylin gained a win over Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now sport a 17-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dighton for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 14. Golden Plains will face a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Quinter (Quinter, KS). The Hornets record now stands at 22-11.
