In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Kingsley Stags volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Grant Tigers.
The Stags (39-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cadillac (Cadillac, MI). The Vikings enter the non-league test with a 26-4 record. In their last test, Cadillac was defeated by Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI), 3-0, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 24-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midland for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. Grant will face a Chemics squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Dow (Midland, MI). The Chemics record now stands at 19-6.
