The Hedgesville Eagles tipped the host Martinsburg Bulldogs volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Eagles now possess a 30-4 record. They play next when they host Spring Mills for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 11. Hedgesville will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 league win over Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-8.
With the loss, Martinsburg drops to 16-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Washington (Charles Town, WV) to clash with the Patriots in a Eastern Panhandle outing on Tuesday, October 14. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 9-17. Washington lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Musselman (Inwood, WV)
