In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Kingsley Stags volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Shepherd Bluejays.
Next up, the Stags face the Grant Tigers (Grant, MI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 11. Kingsley will attempt to advance on its 39-4 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 21-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI).
The Bluejays (13-11) will now prepare for their game against Cadillac (Cadillac, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 26-4 record. In their last game, Cadillac was edged by Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI), 3-0, in a league game.
