With the triumph, Thornton upgrades its record to 8-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Thornridge (Dolton, IL) to meet the Falcons in a Southland challenge on Tuesday, October 14. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 5-15. Thornridge lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Crete-Monee (Crete, IL)

Next, the Lions meet the 21st Century Charter Cougars (Gary, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Lighthouse College Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Thornton (Harvey, IL).
