Marian Mustangs (Bloomfield Hills, MI) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs (34-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Forest Hills Northern (Grand Rapids, MI). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 24-7 record. In their last challenge, Forest Hills Northern beat Ottawa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) in a Macomb Area - Red challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Romeo will attempt to advance on its 20-10 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 8-16 record after their 3-0 league win over L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI).
