Fans at Saturday's league contest between the Taholah Chitwhins (Taholah, WA) and the host Mary M. Knight Owls (Elma, WA), observed Taholah's volleyball team top Mary M. Knight by a count of 2-0.
The Chitwhins (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Willapa Valley (Menlo, WA). The Vikings enter the 1B Coastal battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Willapa Valley dropped by Naselle (Naselle, WA), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Owls now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Naselle for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 14. Mary M. Knight will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Pe Ell (Pe Ell, WA). The Comets record now stands at 10-2.
