Illinois High School Volleyball - Normal University tips Morton

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Normal University Pioneers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Morton Potters.

The Pioneers (29-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL). The Saints go into the non-league test with a 22-4 record. In their last test, Bloomington Central Catholic nudged Rantoul (Rantoul, IL), 2-0, in a league test.

The Potters now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mascoutah for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. Morton will face a Indians squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Joseph's Academy (St. Louis, MO). The Indians record now stands at 19-8.
