The Olney Cubs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Petrolia Pirates to 0 in the Cubs league triumph on Saturday.

The Cubs now have a 13-16 record. They play next when they host Archer City for a 2A Region I District 8 outing on Tuesday, October 14. Olney will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Nocona (Nocona, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-10.

The Pirates (6-15) will now prepare for their game against Windthorst (Windthorst, TX). The Trojans go into the 2A Region I District 8 game with a 26-10 record. In their last game, Windthorst gained a win over Olney (Olney, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
