In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Pleasant Valley Raiders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the White Plains Wildcats.

The Raiders (27-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Glencoe (Glencoe, AL). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league challenge with a 25-13 record. In their last challenge, Glencoe edged Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. White Plains will attempt to upgrade on its 10-21 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 38-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Guntersville (Guntersville, AL).
