In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Unalaska Raiders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sand Point Eagles/Lady Eagles.
The Raiders (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Susitna Valley (Talkeetna, AK). The Rams come into the 2A Borealis challenge with a 4-5 record.
Next, the Eagles/Lady Eagles play the King Cove T-Jacks and Rookies (King Cove, AK) in a 2A Southwest challenge, on Friday, October 24. Sand Point will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The T-Jacks and Rookies come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Cordova (Cordova, AK).
