In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Smith Center Redmen volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs.
The Redmen (17-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Great Bend (Great Bend, KS). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 19-9 record. In their last challenge, Great Bend beat Hillsboro (Hillsboro, KS), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Monarchs face the Oakley Plainsmen (Oakley, KS) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 11. Thomas More Prep-Marian will attempt to improve on its 23-13 season record. The Plainsmen go into the test with a 28-0 record after their 3-2 league win over Smith Center (Smith Center, KS).
