In Saturday's non-league game, the host South Lyon East Cougars volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the St. Francis Gladiators.
Next up, the Cougars face the Mercy Marlins (Farmington Hills, MI) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 16. South Lyon East will attempt to advance on its 30-7 season record. The Marlins go into the game with a 26-3 record after their 3-2 league win over Marian (Bloomfield Hills, MI).
The Gladiators (18-14) will now prepare for their game against Glen Lake (Maple City, MI). The Lakers go into the non-league game with a 8-7 record. In their last game, Glen Lake went down by Midland (Midland, MI), 2-0, in a non-league game.
