In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Bishop O'Dowd Dragons volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Alameda Hornets.
The Dragons (18-12) will now prepare for their battle against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA). The Highlanders come into the West Alameda County - Foothill battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Piedmont lost by Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Hornets clash with the San Leandro Pirates (San Leandro, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill battle, on Thursday, October 14. Alameda will attempt to advance on its 15-8 season record. The Pirates come into the battle with a 4-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Berkeley (Berkeley, CA).
