The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks (Sour Lake, TX) and the visiting Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX), saw Hardin-Jefferson's volleyball squad beat Shepherd by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Hardin-Jefferson upgrades its record to 17-10 on the year. The Hawks host Splendora (Splendora, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 4A Region III District 21 bout on Friday, October 15. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 16-13.
The Pirates now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a 4A Region III District 21 bout on Tuesday, October 19.
