The McGuffey Highlanders held off the visiting West Mifflin Titans soccer team by a score of 1-0 in Wednesday's league contest.
Next, the Highlanders face the Trinity Hillers (Washington, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 15. McGuffey will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Hillers enter the contest with a 0-7 record after their 4-0 league loss to South Fayette (McDonald, PA).
The Titans now have a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brownsville for a contest on Monday, October 17. West Mifflin will face a Falcons team coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Monessen (Monessen, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-8.
