The Huskies now hold a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Hibriten for a non-league test on Monday, October 17. Ashe County will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Alexander Central drops to 1-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to Watauga (Boone, NC) to meet the Pioneers in a non-league test on Monday, October 17. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 8-3. Watauga won 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Freedom (Morganton, NC)
