California High School Volleyball - Piedmont can't hold off Castro Valley

In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Castro Valley Trojans volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Piedmont Highlanders.
The Trojans (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Antioch (Antioch, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 3-6 record.
Next, the Highlanders clash with the Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA) in a battle, on Monday, October 17. Piedmont will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The Hornets come into the battle with a 22-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Encinal (Alameda, CA).
