The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Mt. Eden Monarchs (Hayward, CA) and the visiting Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA), saw Mt. Eden's volleyball squad nip Tennyson by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Mt. Eden upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Monarchs travel to Hayward (Hayward, CA) to play the Farmers in a bout on Monday, October 17. The Farmers go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

The Lancers now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Arroyo for a bout on Monday, October 17.
