The Fairview Tigers held off the visiting General McLane Lancers soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Wednesday's league match.
The Tigers now sport a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Girard for a District 10 Region 3 match on Tuesday, October 18. Fairview will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, PA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-9.
With the loss, General McLane drops to 13-4 on the season. The Lancers host Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA) to encounter the Huskies in a District 10 Region 3 match on Tuesday, October 18.
