In Wednesday's league battle, the host Santa Fe Demons soccer squad scored a close 6-0 win over the Los Lunas Tigers.
The Demons (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs go into the 5A District 5 battle with a 0-17 record. In their last battle, Manzano was overwhelmed by Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 10-0, in a league battle.
The Tigers (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars go into the 5A District 5 battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Capital was overwhelmed by Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM), 5-1, in a league battle.
