The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) and the host Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), saw Pinecrest's soccer squad triumph over Scotland by a count of 7-0.

The Patriots now hold a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Lee for a Sandhills 3A/4A test on Thursday, October 13. Pinecrest will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Scotland drops to 3-10 on the season. The Fighting scots travel to Lee County (Sanford, NC) to meet the Yellow Jackets in a Sandhills 3A/4A test on Monday, October 17. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a record of 13-4. Lee County won 6-0 in their recent league test against Richmond (Rockingham, NC)
