Rockwood Rockets (Rockwood, PA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Rockets face the Bishop Walsh Spartans (Cumberland, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 14. Rockwood will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Goretti (Hagerstown, MD).

The Ramblers now have a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they host United for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 18.
