The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) and the visiting White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA), saw Pickens's softball squad nip White County by a count of 9-7.

The Dragons now sport a 17-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wesleyan for a non-league match on Thursday, October 13. Pickens will face a Wolves squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 24-2.

With the loss, White County falls to 16-9 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Thursday, October 20. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 12-17. Oconee County lost 6-5 in their recent non-league match against Monroe Area (Monroe, GA)
