The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY) and the host Catholic Central Crusaders (Troy, NY), saw Academy of the Holy Names's volleyball squad beat Catholic Central by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Academy of the Holy Names upgrades its record to 11-2 on the year. The host Mount Academy (Esopus, NY) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 15. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 18-2. Mount Academy won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Spackenkill (Poughkeepsie, NY)

The Crusaders now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Albany Academy for Girls for a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty bout on Thursday, October 13. Catholic Central will play a Bears squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Lansingburgh (Troy, NY). The Bears record now stands at 0-6.
