The Bassick Lions volleyball team (Bridgeport, CT), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Wright Tech Warriors (Stamford, CT)

The Warriors (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Abbott RVT (Danbury, CT). The Wolverines come into the Connecticut Technical challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Abbott RVT was edged by Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions encounter the Amistad Wolves (New Haven, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 14. Bassick will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Harding (Bridgeport, CT).
