The Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) volleyball overcame the visiting Monticello Panthers (Monticello, NY), 3-0 in Wednesday's league outing.

With the win, Cornwall Central upgrades its record to 28-3 on the year. The Dragons travel to Beacon (Beacon, NY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 13. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 4-9. Beacon lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY)

The Panthers now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Goshen Central for a Section 9 Orange County III test on Friday, October 14. Monticello will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Gladiators record now stands at 4-5.
