In Wednesday's league contest, the Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Clippers face the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) in a Division 2 contest, on Thursday, October 13. Cumberland will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 11-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI).

With the loss, Westerly moves to 6-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host Exeter-West Greenwich (West Greenwich, RI) to face the Scarlet Knights in a Division 2 contest on Thursday, October 13. The Scarlet Knights come into the battle with a record of 4-6. Exeter-West Greenwich lost 3-2 in their recent league battle against North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI)
