North Carolina High School Volleyball - Enka Polk County

The Polk County Wolverines volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Enka Jets to 1 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Wolverines now have a 20-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brevard for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A game on Thursday, October 13. Polk County will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 14-4.

The Jets (13-7) will now prepare for their game against Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Cougars enter the The Mountain 3A/4A game with a 11-4 record. In their last game, Asheville gained a win over North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
