The Stevenson Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting King City Mustangs to 2 in the Pirates league victory on Wednesday.
The Pirates now possess a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monte Vista Christian for a Pacific Coast - Mission game on Friday, October 14. Stevenson will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Monterey (Monterey, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-10.
The Mustangs (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Watsonville (Watsonville, CA). The Wildcatz enter the Pacific Coast - Cypress game with a 13-9 record. In their last game, Watsonville was nudged by Westmont (Campbell, CA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
