Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Penncrest over Marple Newtown

October 12, 2022: Newtown Square, PA 19073

The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Penncrest Lions (Media, PA) and the host Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA), saw Penncrest's volleyball squad beat Marple Newtown by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Penncrest upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Lions host Harriton (Rosemont, PA) to play the Rams in a Central bout on Monday, October 17. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 6-10.

The Fightin' Tigers now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Interboro for a non-league bout on Friday, October 14. Marple Newtown will play a Buccaneers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to East (West Chester, PA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 0-3.
