The Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) held off the host Pearsall Mavericks volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's league test.
The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) now have a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Floresville for a 4A Region IV District 29 test on Friday, October 14. Uvalde will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Pearsall (Pearsall, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 26-7.
The Mavericks (4-21) will now prepare for their test against Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX). The Eagles enter the 4A Region IV District 29 test with a 37-2 record. In their last test, Pleasanton held off Somerset (Somerset, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
