The Nansemond River Warriors volleyball team (Suffolk, VA), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA)

The Bruins (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Braves enter the Southeastern challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Indian River was dropped by Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Tuesday, October 17. Nansemond River will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA).
