The Eastern Montgomery Mustangs topped the host Narrows Green Waves volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now have a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Galax for a non-league test on Monday, October 16. Eastern Montgomery will confront a Maroon Tide team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 5-13.

The Green Waves (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Spartans enter the non-league test with a 16-2 record. In their last test, Giles gained a win over Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
