New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), 2-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Gryphons clash with the Grace Christian School Kings (Mechanicsville, VA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 19. New Covenant will attempt to advance on its 12-6 season record.

With the loss, Covenant drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA) to clash with the Flames in a match on Monday, October 23. The Flames come into the match with a record of 8-1.
