In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting West Columbus Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pender Patriots.
The Vikings (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Gators come into the non-league battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, East Columbus lost by Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Patriots clash with the Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC) in a battle, on Tuesday, October 17. Pender will attempt to advance on its 10-10 season record. The Titans come into the battle with a 9-12 record after their 2-1 non-league win over East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC).
