North Carolina High School Soccer - Cornerstone Charter nudges Bishop McGuinness

Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals confront the Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A challenge, on Tuesday, October 17. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 6-0 league loss to Carver (Winston-Salem, NC).
The Villains now have a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williams for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 16. Bishop McGuinness will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Western Alamance (Elon, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-9.
