The Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV) soccer bounced the visiting Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV), 5-1 in Thursday's league bout.

With the win, Jefferson moves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Cougars host Linsly (Wheeling, WV) to battle the Cadets in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. The Cadets go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Linsly 3-3 in their recent non-league bout against Washington (Charles Town, WV)
