In Thursday's league battle, the visiting St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders.

The Wildcats (20-11) will now prepare for their battle against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Fightin' Irish come into the West Catholic battle with a 14-11 record. In their last battle, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory lost by Burlingame (Burlingame, CA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Crusaders clash with the Presentation Panthers (San Jose, CA) in a West Catholic battle, on Tuesday, October 17. Archbishop Riordan will attempt to advance on its 10-10 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 6-21 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to El Camino (South San Francisco, CA).
