In Thursday's non-league contest, the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Auburn Bulldogs (Auburn, NE), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Thunderbirds battle the Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 16. Johnson County Central will attempt to better on its 18-8 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 21-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Palmyra (Palmyra, NE).

With the loss, Auburn moves to 12-18 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league contest on Monday, October 16. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a record of 9-13.
