The Augusta Panthers topped the visiting Mason County Royals volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Panthers now have a 5-25 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Patrick for a District 39 test on Tuesday, October 17. Augusta will confront a Saints team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Paris (Paris, KY). The Saints record now stands at 2-14.

The Royals (18-9) will now prepare for their test against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY). The Polar Bears enter the District 39 test with a 20-16 record. In their last test, Bracken County gained a win over Dayton (Dayton, KY), 2-0, in a non-league test.
