New Mexico High School Volleyball - Aztec edged by Bloomfield

The Bloomfield Bobcats held off the visiting Aztec Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Bobcats now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gallup for a 4A District 1 test on Tuesday, October 17. Bloomfield will confront a Bengals team coming off a 3-0 league win over Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Bengals record now stands at 12-3.

The Tigers (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Shiprock (Shiprock, NM). The Chieftains enter the 4A District 1 test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Shiprock held off Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM), 3-2, in a league test.
