The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) and the visiting Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA), saw B-G-M's volleyball squad beat Colfax-Mingo by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, B-G-M upgrades its record to 10-13 on the year. The Bears host H-L-V (Victor, IA) to play the Warriors in a South Iowa Cedar bout on Monday, October 16. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 14-17. H-L-V won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA)

The Tigerhawks now own a 7-17 record. They play next when they host Grand View Christian for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. Colfax-Mingo will play a Thunder squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Thunder record now stands at 5-30.
