The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Hartford Public Owls (Hartford, CT) and the visiting Bulkeley Bulldogs (Hartford, CT), saw Hartford Public's volleyball squad nip Bulkeley by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Hartford Public upgrades its record to 4-10 on the year. The Owls host New Britain (New Britain, CT) to play the Golden Hurricanes in a Central Connecticut - North bout on Monday, October 16. The Golden Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 1-12. New Britain lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against RHAM (Hebron, CT)

The Bulldogs now own a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Academy of Aerospace and Engineering for a non-league bout on Friday, October 13. Bulkeley will play a Jets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to East Granby (East Granby, CT). The Jets record now stands at 5-6.
