In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Christopher Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Independence 76ers.
The Cougars (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA). The Saints come into the BVAL - Santa Teresa East battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Santa Teresa went down by Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the 76ers encounter the Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 14. Independence will attempt to move on its 2-12 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 20-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Cupertino (Cupertino, CA).
