The Webster City Lynx volleyball team (Webster City, IA), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA)

The (13-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 18-11 record. In their last challenge, Southeast Valley nudged Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lynx encounter the Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 14. Webster City will attempt to move on its 15-15 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 14-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Perry (Perry, IA).
