The Clovis Wildcats topped the visiting Lovington Wildcats volleyball squad by a tally of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
With the win, Clovis upgrades its record to 10-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM) to play the Cavemen in a 5A District 4 bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Cavemen go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Carlsbad lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Goddard (Roswell, NM)
The Wildcats now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Ruidoso for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. Lovington will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 3-8.
